Where is the cooking school located?
Our cooking studios are centrally located at, 73-75 Hai Ba Trung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. We are in the same building as Xu Restaurant Lounge, on the 3rd floor. You can ask any taxi or hotel staff and they will be happy to guide you there.
When do your group classes run? How long is the class?
All our cooking classes are opened from Monday to Saturday, with 2 sessions per day. Each class runs for 3 hours.

Do you have any special classes for kids?
We do facilitate kid participants, with a special rate of $40usd for our Team GRAIN class. We provide child safe cooking equipment and our Guest Service team to supervise and support the session.
Can I take one class or do I have to commit to a series of classes?
GRAIN cooking classes are designed to be taken independently. Menus change quarterly and revolve around a seasonal theme based on the Vietnamese calendar and product seasonality.
Do you offer private classes?
Yes, we can arrange that. Our cooking classes usually hold 18 to 40 people. However, private classes are fully customizable and can cater up to 100 guests. If you want to organize your own private class, our team is available to discuss your needs and organize your session.
Can I get the opportunity to have a cooking class with Luke Nguyen?
Due to tight schedule of Luke Nguyen, he can no longer teach frequently at Grain. However, we can help to arrange a class upon special request and additional fee charged by Luke.
Would you be able to go to other venues to run the class?
For 'Private Classes' and 'Team Building' we are able to teach the classes in other venues and also customize the menus.
Do you have pick up service?
Yes, pick up service can be provided, but would maybe include an extra cost.
What are your payment methods?
We take cash, credit card or American Express.
Where do you get your ingredients?
We have our ingredients delivered from local suppliers fresh every morning.
Do you serve alcohol?
Yes, we have a cash bar on site.
Do your prices include VAT and service charge?
Yes, our prices include 10% VAT and 5% service charge.
